And finally three, a photographer will generally spend more hours then they admit to in postproduction on the photos. Post production involves processing images, which could include transferring, backing up and editing over 800 hi-res images from a typical wedding day. In many cases the time spent processing an 8-hour shoot can be a daunting task.
Poorly planned weddings usually produce longer and more costly days for everyone. A seasoned photographer will know whether a wedding is organized based on a bride’s preparedness for their meeting and whether there is a Wedding Planner. A detailed-oriented photographer will extract all the information they can about a wedding day. If the wedding seems ill prepared, most photographers are going to recommend a long range of coverage like 10 or 12 hours, which is going to “pump up” cost.
Poorly planned weddings are difficult for any photographer because they limit shooting time. The best run weddings either have a Wedding Planner or someone who is capable of directing the event.
